For the new 2023-2024 football season, the Racing FC operating budget has been set at 110 million CFA F. According to the club’s manager, to raise this substantial sum, the team’s administration will be relying not only on stadium revenues, subscriptions paid by members of the club’s board of directors and the sale of equipment. They also expect subscriptions paid by supporters.

As far as subscriptions are concerned, the tone was set with a cash collection estimated at 1 million 640 thousand, 500 CFA francs. Last season’s interim committee, headed by Alphonse Koagne, was reappointed among the decisions taken at the meeting. Benjamin Mongo, an experienced coach who officed at Stade Renard de Mélong (assistant), Newstars de Douala and Renaissance FC de Ngoumou among others, has been tasked to bring back the club to the first ivision.

To achieve this, Racing have signed an agreement with Coton Sport of Garoua who have already loaned them players from their reserves. Five of those players have already been given a trial.
