An ambush by separatists in the North West region has left three soldiers and two gendarmes dead.

It is a sad end of year in Cameroon. Just a few days before the new year, the country has lost its sons serving in the defence forces. This happened in the North West Region of the country. As reported by other media, three soldiers and two gendarmes were targeted in a deadly attack. They were killed by Ambazonian separatists in Wum on their way back from Bamenda.

For now, there has been no official government response. But social networking sites and various propaganda platforms of separatist groups have been the source of shocking images of the event.
