The competition which brings together football federations of Central Africa ended yesterday with the green red yellow floating higher than the other flags.

Once again, Cameroon emerged victorious from the Uniffac tournament. A performance achieved thanks to a faultless course. First, there was the curtain-raiser victory over the Central African Republic (3-0). Then, the U-17 Lions chained a victory against Congo (2-0).

A reward that allows Cameroon to qualify for the AFCON U-17 which will be played in Algeria this year from April 8 to 30.

The other coronation for Cameroon is the happiness of having in its ranks the best player of the competition. With three goals and two assists, Angel Yondjo of the Brasseries du Cameroun football school finished top scorer and best player of the Uniffac 2023 tournament.
