A budget of approximately 4.626 billion francs has been adopted for the institution’s financial year following a meeting of the Board of Governors held at the end of the year.

The University of Bertoua budget was the subject of a vote at the Board of directors’ meeting last December 28, 2023. The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Board, Bernard Wongolo, and the Rector of the University, Prof. Rémy Magloire Etoua. The funds will be used mainly for the improvement of the University of Bertoua’s (UBe) operations and the expansion of its facilities.

Statistically speaking, the university , whose eight schools are now operational, has a total of 169 permanent lecturers (98 assistants, 57 lecturers, 10 senior lecturers and 4 full professors), as well as almost 250 part-time lecturers, and enrols around 7,500 students.
