Day 13 of the national football championship was played this weekend, with clubs from North West region grabbing new victories.

Young Sports Academy of Bamenda (YOSA) is going from glory to glory. YOSA had as opponent UMS de Loum last week-end within the frame of the MTN Elite 1. They Bamenda guys won 2-0. The match took place last Saturday. It was the 13th playing day of the MTN Elite 1. Teams from Bamenda secured enough reasons to rejoice during end of the year festivities. PWD of Bamenda, like YOSA, won their match against Dynamo de Douala 2-1.

Though Victoria United’s penalty is witnessing a lot of protestations, they are still celebrating after their 3-0 win over Fovu Club de Baham. Canon de Yaoundé beat Astres Douala 1-0, while Aigle Royal de la Menoua beat Union Sportive de Douala 4-1 and neighbours Bamboutos were beaten 3-0 by AS Fortuna. Fauve Azur vs Apejes de Mfou had the same result with the match Coton sport de Garoua playing against Avion academy : 0-0
