The new infrastructure was inaugurated yesterday, 7 August, by the Minister of Decentralisation and Local Development, Georges Elanga Obam.

The Bangangté Central Market is an ambitious project requiring an investment of more than 910 million CFA francs, financed by FEICOM with German funds. The market has 304 shops, two toilet blocks, storage areas, a bus station and car parks. It offers improved working conditions for traders and will contribute to the economic development of the region.
