As the official logistics partner of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Africa Global Logistics (AGL) is transforming its role at the TotalEnergies 2025 Africa Cup of Nations into a mission of social impact. Through its AGL Moving Tour initiative, the company has launched a mobile solidarity caravan across Morocco, designed to empower local youth and leave a lasting legacy long after the final whistle.
In collaboration with the NGO Tibu Africa, AGL focused its efforts on Casablanca, Marrakech, and Tangier, delivering tangible resources to schools and working-class neighborhoods. On December 23, 2025, AGL inaugurated a fully equipped sports-study dormitory in the Médiouna district, Casablanca. This facility supports 20 young students annually, providing a stable environment where they can balance academic excellence with athletic training and social inclusion.
In Marrakech, the “Education through Sport Festival” took place on December 30, 2025 during which nearly 80 children engaged in workshops that were organized with focus on health, nutrition, and personal development. An interactive introduction to the world of logistics and port operations as a means of career discovery was equally dished out. The youngsters equally benefitted from the donations of sports gear to ensure sustainable physical activity for the community.
On January 6, 2026, the program concluded at the Ibn Hazm school with the complete renovation of a basketball court. Featuring an inclusive artistic mural, this safe, modern space now serves over 100 local users, acting as a hub for social cohesion and community engagement.
A Vision Beyond the Pitch
For AGL, sponsorship is about more than brand visibility; it is a lever for development. Khadija Komara, Director of Communications and Sponsorship at AGL, noted that sport serves as a vital “engine of equal opportunities” for the next generation.
As we move through 2026, AGL continues to position itself as a key driver of social transformation, ensuring that major sporting events like the Africa Cup of Nations generate sustainable benefits for African territories and their communities.
