In Cameroon, 9 out of 10 children with disabilities have difficulties accessing education, according to official data. This situation has long been a headache for the government, which now came up with a set of measures aiming at making the education system more inclusive.

As part of the fight against food insecurity, a WFP food quality and safety team accompanied by Simplice Sadou, the regional delegate of the Ministry of Agriculture for the Far North, is visiting the rice production structures based in Maroua. The objective is to fight against food insecurity by strengthening the production techniques of rice enrichment units in micro-nutrients and vitamins. Cameroon : Customs Collects Over CFAF 2,457 Billion In Two Years

The top management of Customs informs that for the period between 2020 and 2022, it has collected about CFAF 2,457 billion, “for a target of CFAF 2,318 billion, a rate of achievement of 106%. These figures are revealed by the Director General (DG) of the institution. “Over the same period, budgetary customs revenue improved from CFAF 707 billion in 2020 to CFAF 897 billion in 2022, an overall increase of nearly CFAF 190 billion in absolute value and 26.8% in relative value,” said GM Edwin Fongod Nuvaga on February 3.
For the year 2023, the institution has set itself the target of collecting nearly CFAF 1,027 billion.
