It was in an atmosphere filled with joy and emotion of fulfillment that Dr. Amina , naturopath and CEO of Tropical Bio received the pan-African award in a ceremony that was held on Monday, January 5th, at the headquarters of company, situated in the PK 9 district of Douala 3, Cameroon. The awards received from the African Association of Communication Professionals (2Acom), is an honor in recognition of her exceptional career in traditional medicine.

She secured a near-unanimous victory with 54 out of 55 votes from across the continent. The distinction makes Traditional Doctor Amina the 21st person from Central Africa to receive this pan-African award. Dr. Amina received the award and trophy from the hands of Hervé Narcisse Yemdji , Executive Chairman of 2Acom, and Aurélien Fernand Njock , Chairman of the Board of Directors of the organization, this before a large audience composed of family members, friends, employees and colleagues who applauded her achievement.

Equally present at the ceremony were several artists and comedians who brought a touch of entertainment to the event.

After receiving the award, the laureate couldn’t help be reiterate her commitment towards improving the health conditions of people as she dedicated the trophy to her family and community

” I am very moved tonight. This prize and this trophy are the result of hard work. I promise never to give up. I promise to always give health to all these sick people. I dedicate this trophy to my parents, the Bamoun community, and the Sultan-King of the Bamoun, King Nabil .”

Just like Dr Amina, Dr. Kenne Lambo Tosganie Bibiane equally received the Grand Prize of African Excellence in Traditional Medicine for her dedication towards the sector. The award ceremony took place in the Kotto neighborhood of the Douala 5th district in Cameroon, where she received the award from the Association of Communication Professionals ( 2ACom ). It is worth noting that Dr Kenne is a triple medalist (silver, vermeil and gold) for her work, awarded on behalf of the President of the Republic of Cameroon by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security.

The laureate delivered a deeply personal speech. ” I am truly very moved. I will begin by thanking all the great men who have come here, because here, when you do good work, you don’t expect anything in return. But it is your work that sets you apart ,” she declared. Dr Kenne dedicated her trophy to her parents.
