The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime will on Tuesday launch its report on Firearms Trafficking in the Sahel.According to a statement from the UN, the report explores firearms trafficking in the Sahel by looking at the nature of the market, the source and flows of firearms.
It also looks at the main actors involved and the impact of this form of trafficking on the region.
This is the second report to be launched as part of a broader transnational organised crime threat assessment on the Sahel conducted by the UNODC Regional Office for West and Central Africa.
