Recently appointed by a decision from the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Mamoudou Abdoulmoumini, 90 new officials were formally installed into their roles on Friday, January 9, 2026 at the Hamadjoda Adjoudji Amphitheater. The ceremony was presided over by the Secretary General of the University of Ngaoundéré, Prof. Tsala Tsala Christian Célestin.
This event represents a major milestone in the modernization of the university’s administration. For the first time in its history, the institution has conducted a large-scale installation of office heads with a clear objective: to improve student reception and the quality of service provided to students. The university’s organizational chart has been strengthened by human resources predominantly composed of young people and women ready to inject a new sense of dynamism.
The 90 New Appointees were deployed to various key sectors and services of the institution, notably ; One (01) Office Head at the University Rectorate, Seven (7) Office Heads at the General Secretariat, Six (06) Office Heads at the Academic Affairs and Cooperation unit, Six (06) Office Heads at the Infrastructure and Planning service, Nine (09) Office Heads at the University Student Works Center (COUn), Seven (7) Office Heads at the Financial Affairs Department, thirty-six (36) Office Heads were sent to the faculties and Twenty-four (24) Office Heads to the Professional Schools.

There was a strong presence of directors, deans, and faculty colleagues at the ceremony. Recognized as the “backbone” of university administration, these new leaders received firm instructions from the top management.
Prof. Tsala Tsala emphasized that the newly appointed should maintain high moral standards, should constantly search for effectiveness and efficiency in administrative tasks and also serve the public interest with dedication.
The Secretary General urged the appointees to serve the State in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Republic, while strictly respecting university ethics and professional conduct. He concluded by reassuring the new officials that the hierarchy would remain attentive to any challenges they might encounter on the ground.
