At least 100 dynamic young people between the ages 15–35 from the North West Region of Cameroon have taken part in a Youth Advocacy Training Workshop on Digital Rights—a bold step toward building safer, more inclusive, and more democratic digital spaces.

Organized by Heart of Hope Cameroon in partnership with UNITY Foundation Cameroon-UFC and Africa Needs Us Foundation – ANUF the workshop held under the theme: ” : ”

The aim of this impactful initiative is to equip young people with the knowledge, skills, and confidence required to navigate the digital world responsibly, protecting their rights online, and amplifying their voices for positive change.
Through interactive sessions, open dialogue, and hands-on learning sessions that were organized, the participants at the end of the workshop  emerged as digital rights advocates, champions of online safety, and active contributors to democratic engagement within their communities and beyond.

This initiative which is part of the wider Digitalise Youth Project implemented by European Partnership for Democracy is powered by the Digital Democracy Initiative, supported by Youth Democracy Cohort

the training workshop was an opportunity for the organisation and her various partners to reaffirm the critical role of youth in shaping a safe, ethical, and inclusive digital future for all.
