This will take place from October 07 to 14,?2024 in the Autonomous Port of Douala, thanks to the Chinese hospital ship “Peace Ark”.

People suffering from certain pathologies in various medical specialities will receive free of charge medical assistance. The following medical services will be provided: surgical operations, infectious and chronic diseases, paediatrics, dental and oral care, ophthalmology, orthopaedics and gynaecology and obstetrics. This follows a cooperation deal between China and Cameroon.

The bilateral cooperation between Cameroon and China implies that those suffering from these diseases, which often have a negative impact on their health, will be able to get rid of them. The “Peace Ark” will spent a week in the autonomous port of Douala.

To benefit from the fruits of this visit, attention is drawn to the following. Patients are currently being registered in some health facilities in Douala: Hôpital Militaire de Région N° 2, Hôpital Général, Hôpital Laquintinie and the Douala Gynaeco-Obstetric and Paediatric Hospital.
