This was the central aim of the University and career fare organized by the administration of Enko La Gaieté International over the weekend.

In order to guarantee a smooth transition of their students educational path from the secondary to university level as well as guaranteeing a bright future, the administration of Enko la Gaieté international organized a University and career fair on January 10, 2026 at the school campus in Yaounde. Under the stewardship of Achraf Amidou, Director of the Campus, the orientation day that was organized in partnership with the United States Embassy in Cameroon, was centered on four axes notably ; meeting with University representatives from the United States and abroad,  briefing on the study process in America, One-on-one advising and guidance for parents, schools and students.

An initiative well appreciated by the students. For Smiley Sone, a student of the Institution,  it iiqs an innovative idea that was meticulously well executed and beneficial for students who believe it will help them gain direct guidance from experts that are assigned to each stand. Manga Aleokol Eric, President of the Student community on his part acknowledges the fact that, the fare is crucial for them as regards their path to the University as well as the visibility of their school to the outside world.

Representing the US Embassy at this educational fare was the Deputy Public Affairs officer Amanda Cauldwell, who pointed out that the choice of a University was an important decision a youth had to make, and thus their partnering with the administrative of Enko La Gaieté for the organization of such a fare geared towards providing students with accurate and clear information was of utmost importance.

Amongst the Universities and institutions present at the education fare were the University of South Wales, University of Portsmouth, Kelden University Institute, Franky International and the Young Parliamentary Network.

Being in the Country for just five months and counting, Achraf Amidou has prompted a remarkable breakthrough in the lives of the Enko la Gaieté International campus, which has been existing for over 10 years youngsters, by bringing the youngsters to the limelight of information, guidance and counseling. Specialists for various fields of life particularly Education, finance, project management, Law, Medical field, public Diplomacy and Arts and Humanity were present.

A group networking session was organized wherein the students benefited from the experiences of the resource persons in an interactive exchange. They gained knowledge on the peculiarities of each sector and what to expect in terms of career opportunities.

The students were urged to be curious and to make good use of this lifetime opportunity which will go a long way to help them make informed choices. They were accompanied by their parents who expressed satisfaction regarding the choice of the institution made for their offsprings education.

The ceremony was spiced up with the presence of a cultural dance group from the North West Region of the country, whose traditional display made the crowd stand on their feet and danced to the rhythm of the sound. With drums, xylophones and traditional outfits the dance crew spread the spirit of cultural heritage reminding the students of their roots nor matter where the are.
