Businessman Beyongo Mukete announces the creation of Krieger Brewery Company as a joint venture with foreign capital to produce a German beer.
According to an announcement published on 2’th August 2023, Cameroonian businessman Beyongo Mukete is planning to set up “Krieger Brewery Company Plc”, a brewing company with capital of 600 million CFA francs, to be headquartered at Mile 2, Limbe, in the South-West region. The Cameroonian intends to set up the round table with the help of foreign capital. The aim of this conglomerate of foreign and local partners is to introduce top-quality beers to the Cameroonian market,.
The introduction of Krieger Brewery in Cameroon is reminiscent of the introduction of the Isenbeck brand, now produced by Boissons du Cameroun, Castel’s Cameroonian subsidiary. We can therefore already imagine that these two brands will be in strong competition in the German beer sector, which seems to have a positive reputation among consumers.
Beyongo Mukete wants to introduce Cameroon to the brand of a German drink that produces beers such as: “Krieger Hell”, “Krieger Pils”, “Krieger Festbier”, “Krieger Floriani-Bock”, “Krieger Weißbier”, “Krieger Urweiße”, “Isartaler leichtes Weißbier”, “Ludwig der Kelheimer dunkel”, “Krieger Zwickl”, “Onkel Pepps Märzen” and soft drinks such as “Trucade”. In addition to alcoholic beverages, Beyongo Mukete also plans to market “drinking water of the highest purity, and other non-alcoholic beverages”.
