Press release: President Biya to receive new year wishes
The president of the Republic of Cameroon, His Excellency Paul Biya is to receive 2026 new year wishes from members of Diplomatic corps and National Dignitaries tomorrow Thursday, January 8, 2026 at the Unity Palace. The information is contained in a press release signed this January 7, 2016 by the Minister, Director of Civil Cabinet Samuel Mvondo Ayolo.
The ceremony which will begin at 3pm will mark the beginning of a series of new year wishes in the Country. It is worth noting that President Biya will be receiving this new year wishes barely 3 months after his re-election as President of the Republic for another 7 year mandate.
The members of the Diplomatic Corp and national dignitaries are expected to appear in the ceremonial outfits, with all decorations worn (for those who have), Phones prohibited and arrival time slatted to commence from 1h45pm to 2h25 pm.
