The inhabitants of the Nkozoa neighborhood and its environs officially welcomed Zota Spark Delice, a restaurant specializing in local delicacies, during a colorful inauguration ceremony held on July 25, 2026.
Founded by entrepreneur and CEO Tetuh Endam Asumpta, the restaurant, located in the Charter Building in Nkozoa, officially opened its doors through the symbolic cutting of the ribbon by the founder alongside her mentor, Apostle Fru Divine.
With a menu featuring a wide range of Cameroonian favorites including eru, kati-kati, ndole, achu, fried rice, as well as fast-food options like shawarma, all starting from as low as FCFA 1,000, the restaurant aims to make quality meals both affordable and accessible. Operating daily from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Zota Spark Delice promises consistent service built on availability, affordability, and quality.
Addressing guests dressed in the restaurant’s signature green and white colors, Tetuh Endam Asumpta described Zota Spark Delice as more than just a place to eat. She said the establishment was created to foster community, strengthen connections, and create lasting memories through the shared experience of good food prepared with warmth and pride.
In her keynote address, the founder explained that the vision behind Zota Spark Delice was inspired by the belief that good food should spark joy. She invited guests to experience authentic Cameroonian cuisine with a modern touch, assuring customers that every dish is prepared with high-quality ingredients to guarantee both taste and healthy dining.
The entrepreneur also paid tribute to the many individuals who contributed to making the project a reality. She thanked investors, partners, architects, designers, suppliers, the construction team, chefs, staff members, family, and friends for their unwavering support throughout the journey from concept to completion.
Beyond serving meals, Asumpta reaffirmed the restaurant’s commitment to becoming a welcoming space for everyone, whether for a quick lunch, family dinner, celebrations, or other events. She expressed confidence that the restaurant would become a meeting point where new friendships, traditions, and memorable experiences would flourish within the Nkozoa community.
The successful realization of the project was made possible through the moral and financial support of several family members and well-wishers, notably Mama Nkwati Flavie, Gisele Amana, Obi Tony, Pa Roland Obi, Pa Teke Christopher Mbah, and Prophet Daniel Agbor Ndifon, whose encouragement and contributions helped transform the vision into reality.
Speaking during the launch, partner Tegwi Solange, journalist, businesswoman, and founder of the Therapeutic Action Initiative Association – TAÏA, described Zota Spark Delice as a future hub for youth empowerment. She announced plans to use the restaurant as a training center where young girls will acquire culinary and entrepreneurial skills, enabling them to build sustainable livelihoods while promoting African values of community, reconciliation, and economic independence.
