The U17 Lions of the Cameroonian’s National team are undergoing intense training sessions ahead of the UNIFFAC U17 Tournament 2026 scheduled to take place in the Democratic Republic of Congo DRC from February 17 to March 1, 2026.
Head Coach SAIDOU ALIOUM and his assistants launched the first training camp on Tuesday at the FECAFOOT Technical Center in Yaoundé. Present for the initial gathering were a total of 24 out of the 30 invited players.

The camp opened with a moment of prayer. Immediately following, fitness coach NARCISSE TINKEU and goalkeeper coach AMOUR PATRICK TYGNIEM, under the supervision of Head coach ALIOUM, began individual player introductions and weight check-ins. A 70-minute field session was equally done to access individual technical evaluations of each player, all of whom traveled from the 10 regions of Cameroon.

The second day of training took place yesterday Wednesday, January 7, 2026 with focus on intensifying the technical drills for the Lions.
A gentle reminder was given to the players by the technical staff, which is that of patriotism. They were called to play with the sole objective of defending the colors of the homeland, Cameroon.
The third day of training, this Thursday, January 8, will build on the progress of the first two days, maintained with the same positive mindset.
