On the morning of the start of the 2026-2027 academic year, representatives of the staff delegates of Cameroon’s Telecommunications – CAMTEL were received in an audience by the General Manager of the institution, Mrs. Judith Yah Sunday, wife of Achidi.
The meeting provided an opportunity for staff representatives to express their satisfaction and encouragement to Top Management in light of the company’s recent positive results. Highlights celebrated included CAMTEL’s top-ranking status in the primary category of public enterprises, the renewal of its ISO 9001:2015 – Cycle 3 certification for the Transport segment, the consistent, timely payment of salaries and 13th-month bonuses, and ongoing efforts to improve workplace conditions.
During the session, the Staff Delegates reiterated their commitment to supporting Top Management in achieving its corporate goals, grounded in a spirit of constructive dialogue, accountability, and collaboration. The representatives actively submitted several proposals and recommendations aimed at further enhancing the work environment and promoting employee well-being.
Welcoming these insights, General Manager Judith Yah Sunday reaffirmed her determination to continuously improve employee working conditions while strengthening overall operational performance to better serve CAMTEL’s client base.
This strategic audience followed the company’s traditional flag-raising ceremony, during which staff members collectively renewed their dedication to key corporate values. Employees pledged to adopt ethical, responsible, and professional behavior in their daily operations, ensuring that personal conduct reflects the high standards set by the telecommunications provider.
Furthermore, staff reaffirmed their commitment to strictly respecting CAMTEL’s internal regulations, core values, and guiding principles to maintain organizational integrity.

By linking daily professional discipline with broader strategic benchmarks, CAMTEL aims to solidify its position as a market leader in the national telecommunications landscape while maintaining strong internal industrial relations.
Ultimately, the productive engagement between CAMTEL’s management and staff delegates highlights a growing consensus that sustainable growth relies on mutual trust and transparent social dialogue. As the public enterprise continues to secure regional certifications and maintain high service standards, its leadership remains focused on aligning human resource satisfaction with corporate performance.
Through continuous collaboration, CAMTEL is reinforcing a workplace culture built on shared responsibility, employee recognition, and commercial excellence.
