Cameroonian-British journalist, strategic communication specialist, and peace advocate Rosaline Obah has been awarded the prestigious Martin Luther King Freedom Award 2026.
She received the distinction on September 19, 2026, during the second edition of the Peace, Freedom, and Human Rights International Award ceremony that took place at the historic Norman-Swabian Castle of Sannicandro di Bari in southern Italy.
Organized by the Foundation for World Peace alongside the Léopold Sédar Senghor International Academy and the Academy of Arts and Philosophical Sciences, the event took place ahead of the International Day of Peace on September 21, assembling an international cohort of peacebuilders, academics, and human rights advocates.
