Nicholas Nkongho Manchang, the Divisional Officer of Bamenda 2, who was kidnapped by separatist fighters last Tuesday, has now been set free. He says he owes his escape to divine intervention, having successfully walked for 10 hours to secure his freedom. The other five people kidnapped with him are still missing.
