Kenyan health officials have been meeting on Tuesday to explore strategies for the improvement of the welfare of human resource in the sector, APA can report from Nairobi.Principal Secretary Ministry of Health, State Department for Public Health and Professional Standards Dr. Josephine Mburu met staff from the Kenya Health Human Resource Advisory Council (KHHRAC) to kick start consultations to that effect.

The PS said the ministry in conjunction with other stakeholders are reviewing distribution and work practice to improve professional discipline and establish standards for healthcare workers’ management to ensure patient-friendly services.
