The Nkambe Regional Hospital Annex has officially conducted the technical reception of modern medical equipment aimed at strengthening healthcare delivery and emergency response services in the North-West Region.
Funded under the 2026 Public Investment Budget of the North-West Regional Assembly, the 100 million FCFA project was awarded to Dreamland Connect PLC.
The contractor successfully completed the delivery ahead of schedule, fully respecting the 120-day execution deadline while strictly complying with all contract specifications and quality standards.
The extensive equipment package introduces critical diagnostic, surgical, and life-support tools to the facility. Among the delivered items are fixed and mobile X-ray machines, anesthesia machines with ventilators, surgical theatre equipment, patient monitors, oxygen concentrators, and defibrillators.
Additionally, the delivery includes infusion pumps, suction machines, nebulizers, surgical and traumatology operation sets, wheelchairs, stretchers, examination beds, and specialized pediatric care devices designed to elevate the hospital’s operational capacity.
According to hospital authorities, this massive upgrade will significantly improve surgical services, trauma care, diagnostics, maternal healthcare, and patient monitoring.
The Director of the Nkambe Regional Hospital Annex expressed deep appreciation to the North-West Regional Assembly for prioritizing healthcare investments.
He noted that this intervention will drastically reduce costly patient referrals to distant health facilities, provide immediate access to specialized care, and strengthen public confidence in local medical delivery.
The successful rollout highlights the growing footprint of Dreamland Connect PLC in executing high-impact public infrastructure and service projects across the region.
Company officials emphasized that their approach relies on a blend of timely execution, strict adherence to technical parameters, and durable community solutions. Celebrating the milestone, the CEO of Dreamland Connect PLC, Edison Fru Ndi, stated that the company prioritizes creating a lasting impact, restoring hope, and delivering uncompromising excellence where it matters most.
This successful supply project marks another milestone in the systematic efforts of the North-West Regional Assembly to modernize regional healthcare infrastructure. By equipping local institutions with state-of-the-art tools, the regional government continues to bridge the gap in rural health equity.
The provisional reception of the equipment will follow in due course, officially anchoring these new resources into the daily life-saving operations of the Nkambe community.
