Rwanda set an aggressive tone early, capitalizing on Cameroon’s unforced errors and poor service to claim the opening set 25-18 with formidable intensity at the net. Unphased by the early setback, the central African powerhouses regrouped, demonstrating their tactical preparation to force Rwanda into costly mistakes and claim the second set 25-21.

The relentless pressure continued into a closely contested third set, where the Lions displayed remarkable composure under pressure to scrape through 25-23. Momentum fully swung in favor of Cameroon by the fourth set, as Head Coach Voukeng’s side came out firing to comfortably seal the match with a 25-19 victory.
