The Minister of State, Minister of Higher Education, and President of the Federal Council of FENASU conducted a comprehensive inspection of the construction sites for the upcoming FINAJU Ebolowa 2026 sports facilities on Saturday, July 18, 2026, in Ebolowa.
The high-level delegation included the Governor of the South Region (President of the Local Organizing Committee), the Rector of the host University of Ebolowa, the City Mayor, a representative of the Executive President of the National Federation of University Sports – FENASU, and Mr. Constant Moukoko, Director General of contractor 2ME.
Site evaluations revealed satisfactory progress across the ongoing infrastructure projects. During the tour, the President of the Federal Council commended the construction teams on the ground, praising their dedication and professionalism in keeping the development on track. The project reflects the strategic vision of Head of State, His Excellency Paul BIYA, who aims to modernize and revolutionize the sports ecosystem ahead of this milestone athletic competition.
The Metyikpwalé campus of the University of Ebolowa is undergoing a rapid transformation to prepare for the event. Daily structural improvements and facility upgrades are being implemented across the site to guarantee optimal conditions for athletes and attendees during this inaugural edition of the National University Games Finals – FINAJU.
