The country’s stadia were the scene for a lot of goals last January 03 during the 12th playing day of national championship
There were no real surprises at the end of the 12th playing day of the MTN Elite 2. In the end, it was Aigle and Eding who qualified for the play-offs. Both will be hoping to move up to Elite 1 next season.
The top two teams in Groupe A, Aigle Royal du Moungo and Bafmeng UTD, showed how superior they are. Aigle defeated Racing FC de Bafoussam 3-2, while Bafmeng overcame Renaissance de Ngoumou, 5-1.
Third-placed, Tonnerre Kalara Club travelled to Foncha Street where they lost 2-0, while in Pool B, Eding Sport de la Lekié pushed Léopard Sportif of Douala further into the red zone with a 3-2 win. Elsewhere, Panthère du Ndé moved up to fourth with a 2-1 win over Rangers of Bafut. The result lifted them above Isosha. The latter also won 2-1 at Dragon de Yaoundé.
Meanwhile, Léopard Sportif de Douala, Rangers de Bafut, Renaissance de Ngoumou and Yafoot are all likely to drop back to the regional division.
