As the Hajj 2026 season approaches its peak preparation phase, the national organizing commission met on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at the Ministry of Territorial Administration in Yaounde to finalize logistical frameworks.

This crucial working session brought together government officials and key stakeholders to refine operational details and ensure a seamless experience for all participants. The meeting served as a final coordination point to strengthen the administrative and security measures necessary for the upcoming departures to the Holy Land.

A highlight of the session was the official reception of a significant donation from the Saudi partner, Hawaf Mina. This contribution includes specialized jackets for travel—particularly for the journey to Medina—and Nusuk cards.

These digital identification cards are vital tools designed to streamline access to essential services in Saudi Arabia, ensuring that every pilgrim is properly registered, monitored, and supported throughout the sacred rites. Officials emphasized that these materials are central to improving the overall organization and safety of the pilgrimage.

While the momentum for departure is building, authorities have urged patience regarding the specific flight schedule. Officials noted that the exact dates for the first departures will be released shortly via an official communiqué from the competent authority to prevent the spread of misinformation.

The ongoing collaboration between Cameroonian organizers and their Saudi partners underscores a unified commitment to delivering a Hajj season that is safe, orderly, and spiritually fulfilling for all pilgrims.
