The Municipal Stadium in Mokolo was the venue for a mega political meeting on Wednesday, May 17. The youths of the National Youth Council invited President Paul Biya to stand as a candidate for the 2025 presidential election. The initiators of this request came from all the divisions of the Far North, but also from Adamaoua and the North. The meeting was attended by the RDPC elite of Mayo-Tsanaga led by Manaouda Malachie, Minister of Public Health. Aminatou Ahidjo, PCA of the Yaounde Conference Centre and the Mayo-Tsanaga elite travelled from Mokolo for the occasion.
